Includes official justice sources: Crown Prosecution Service, National Crime Agency, Crimestoppers, British Transport Police and judiciary.uk sentencing remarks.
• Google News — recovery route for police force sites that block direct scraping: force-specific and Police Scotland divisional queries, resolved back to the original publisher before reading.
• Force accounts on X — public appeal posts from force timelines, covering appeals that never reach a force website. Facebook Pages are login-walled and cannot be read.
